This morning Ruby let me take her old braids out and try again. In fact, she was more than willing -- she was excited. So you are all correct, practice is helping a lot! This is what I was able to accomplish this morning. I know I have a long ways to go, but I'm pretty happy that I was able to do this. It took about an hour and a half. I know my braids will get tighter and more even the more I do it. Doesn't Ruby look pretty?

OK, Lisa...if I can do it you can too! I have NO skills either. I've just been encouraged to practice a lot!
they're looking good to me, i don't know if i could do it, keep it up, they look great!
Rebecca,
Are you brave enough to try beads on the ends? Ruby would love them. Little girls love that swing the weight gives. She looks adorable/ I love that you are getting creative with the design.
