Oh How the Years Go By
My son, Derrek, is a 22 years old today. When your kids are little, you think about how amazing it is to watch them learn and grow and change -- and it happens so rapidly that it's hard to keep up. Well, the changes come more slowly now, but I can honestly say that I continue watch in amazement as this young man who is my son changes and grows each year. I'm so thankful that he is mine, and I'm so proud of him!

Great pics! I can't believe I've know him for about 13 years now. He's holding Jack in that one picture, isn't he? How the years go by....
Why does it have to go so fast? Don't you think you've learned to sit back and relax and enjoy it more this time around because you know how fast it will end? I know I did.
