The Olympics

When did beach volleyball become an olympic sport? I must be getting old... I just don't get it. The Olympics were once a dignified sporting event, and now everyone has gold chains, sunglasses, bikinis, and sports like BMX and beach volleyball are fair games for Olympians. Like I said...I must be getting old.

Did you see the bikini clad "cheerleaders" that they had for the beach volleyball? Yes, we are getting old but it was still tacky! :-O

I was pretty shocked by the BMX--how is that an Olympic Sport?? Do other countries really do BMX?

Ok - I'm really getting old because I don't even know what BMX is. I agree... It seem like everyone is trying to find out what they are best at and go for it in the Olympics. I've always thought that Rythmic Dancing (or Gymnastics) shouldn't be in the Olympics but I'm a former gymnast so I'm a little bias. Times are changin' and we're gettin' old!...
